Bridgepoint Maintenance is
looking for a reliable and experienced Appliance Technician to attend
residential properties, complete appliance assessments, diagnose
appliance issues, perform approved repairs, respond to urgent
appliance calls when required, and identify any additional concerns
that may need follow-up.
This role is ideal for someone who is experienced, hands-on,
professional, punctual, and able to work independently in the field.
The right person should be comfortable attending residential
properties, using company systems, documenting work with photos and
videos, communicating clearly, and completing appliance service work
safely and professionally.

What You’ll Do
- Attend residential properties for appliance service calls,
assessments, repairs, urgent calls, and follow-up appointments
- Respond to urgent or emergency appliance issues when assigned or scheduled
- Inspect appliance issues and determine the cause of the problem
- Complete approved appliance repairs in a safe and professional manner
- Diagnose issues with refrigerators, stoves, ovens, dishwashers,
washers, dryers, microwaves, and other residential appliances
- Take clear photos and videos of the appliance, issue, work area,
completed repair, and any concerns requiring follow-up
- Provide clear updates, notes, photos, videos, and details of
completed work after each visit
- Use the company app, phone, calendar, and required systems to
receive jobs, view appointment details, submit updates, upload
photos/videos, and communicate status
- Respect the calendar, arrive on time, and keep appointments
updated properly
- Communicate professionally with tenants, owners, and internal team members
- Identify when additional appliance work, another licensed trade,
replacement, delivery, installation, restoration, or follow-up
service is required
- Create or recommend additional work orders for appliance-related
follow-up repairs
- Return to properties to complete approved follow-up appliance work
- Follow company instructions, appointment details, access
instructions, calendar bookings, and documentation requirements

- Appliance installation checks where applicable
- Filter, hose, seal, latch, element, pump, motor, or component
checks where applicable
- Rental turnover appliance checks
- Appliance assessments for residential properties
Requirements
- Previous experience as an appliance technician, appliance repair
contractor, service technician, maintenance technician, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of residential appliance diagnostics, repairs,
and service work
- Available to handle urgent or emergency appliance calls when required
- Reliable transportation
- Necessary appliance repair tools and equipment available
- Comfortable attending residential properties independently
- iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone with a high-quality camera
- Comfortable using a mobile app, phone, calendar, and online
systems to receive jobs, update appointments, upload photos/videos,
and submit notes
- Comfortable taking clear photos and videos of appliance issues,
repair concerns, and completed work
- Able to write clear notes and submit updates after each visit
- Punctual, reliable, and able to respect scheduled appointments and
calendar bookings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to communicate respectfully with tenants, owners, and team members
- Able to complete work safely, professionally, and within the scope
of experience, licensing, certification, and applicable requirements
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with residential rental properties
- Experience handling urgent appliance service calls
- Experience supporting property management, maintenance, or
residential service operations
- Experience identifying when replacement, delivery, installation,
another licensed trade, or follow-up service is required
- Experience documenting service work through mobile apps, photos,
videos, notes, and job updates

reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently at
residential properties.
They know how to assess appliance issues, complete approved repairs
properly, document the work clearly, and communicate respectfully with
tenants, owners, and internal team members.
They are punctual, organized, and comfortable using mobile systems to
receive jobs, update appointments, upload photos and videos, and
submit notes after each visit.
They understand when a repair is within their scope and when another
licensed trade, replacement, delivery, installation, restoration, or
internal follow-up is required.

Important Note
This role is for appliance repair and appliance service work only.
Any plumbing, electrical, HVAC, gas, structural, restoration, or
permit-required work outside the technician’s scope must be reported
and escalated so the appropriate licensed trade or internal team can
follow up. Gas appliance work must only be completed by someone with
the proper gas license or certification where required.
